Can you imagine being afraid that someone might see your home? Lucy is. Her mother is an well admired oncology nurse by day but at home she is a totally different person governed by her stuff. Lucy's two older siblings have grown up and escaped the mess but she has two more years until she graduates from high school and gets away.
One day over Christmas break Lucy and her best friend meet up with two guys from school they really like. Josh asks Lucy to come to a party the next night and she agrees. Then she goes home and discovers something in the mess...
What will Lucy do? She needs help but if she asks everyone will know how she lives.
